When Digg announced last week that they will be launching a feature in six mounths, that will give users the ability to create their own custom Diggs. I started thinking about if in the future maybe there will be a new company that will be hosting custom free twitter website services for users real soon.

Now we all know the company Co Rank who launched last year and who gives the users the ability to create their own Digg clones for what ever they want them to be, but I am still surprised that no one out there lets anyone build a custom Twitter and host it for free. Well there is a company called Revou who lets people build their own twitters, but that cost money.

Mixx.com is now letting there users create their own custom Mixx communities, and Reddit also is doing some what of the same thing. Maybe in the future we will see Twitter doing this, but I highly doubt they will because if they did start allowing users to create their own custom Twitters, then users would probably be really pissed off if theirown Twitters went offline for 4-5 hours.

Now I love Twitter, but there is no way I see them hosting several custom twitters in the futue, when even their own website goes offline 4-5 hours at a time. Even if they try to host custom Twitters, I am sad to say it won’t last, just because if their custom hosted Twitters go offline for even a couple of hours. The users won’t be back to manage their Twitters or even try to be patient.

Now there is no one that I have seen trying ti become the Co rank of Twitters, but since there are several ways to create your own custom Digg these days, maybe in time there will be a service that lets you create your own Twitter hosted website for free.

There are a few things going on over at Poll Daddy. A series of new features are being released today and Poll Daddy now has a whole new application and a new way to distribute poll-creation suite.  Called Poll Daddy Jr., a new app is essentially a compact version of Polol Daddy Service.

It is designed for third party partner sites that wish to offer more intergreated tools powered by Poll Daddy. The Poll Daddy intereface is very useful for this kind of distribution and their slick interface and sleek design gives them an advantage is their field. I know that a lot of advertisers out there wouldn’t mind having this mini app on their service. Poll Daddy Jr. is an open social app and this new app from Poll Daddy will give a lot back to third party users and partners.

Now there is a site not just for moms,girls,or women, but for aunts. Savvy Auntie just launched today and this is a great idea for aunts. Savvy Auntie is an onlien resource for aunts to share, connet with other people and share gifts of  nieces and nephews.

Savvy Auntie CEO  Melanie Notkin says, “It’s estimated that today, non-moms represent 50% of American women, and that number continues to grow.” While it’s a very niche site, it’s still the womens larger demographic so the chance for advertising remains high and revenue as well.

now the only question is when will SavvyUncle or Savvy Grandmother launch?

 Local search is a really cool way to generate enought traffice for even local websites. On Prazed users can add local search and community reviews on their site. This is done by a powerful Prazed Search Engine that lets your sites users search for  particular keywords.

Picsviewr has just launched today in public beta and might I say this one looks to be a great idea for Flickr fans. Picsviewer lets you take your Flickr based pics and place them into a digital online presentaion.  Without having to register for the site all you need to do is to add your flickr username into the field and you have link to your own cool slide show.

They offer several different templates to choose from and you can even transform you photo collection into several different styles. You can tag photos,check out the photos by photosets or even put in pictures that are high in HD quality.

You can demo or preview your slideshow before your done and you can even show your friends your slide show by linking them to the url of the desired slide show.

Flick fans you now have a new toy to play with and this one will win a lot of hearts over,I guarantee it.

 Mobile streaming provider Flixwagon has just added anaray of new features. Amoung the new features users can now download and install the client software through  Nokia Symbian Series 60 mobile browsers

Before users can broadcast live they have the choice to increace the quality of the video or decrease delay. With the new comment feature users can write messages and write back messages in real time. This gives Flixwagons comment system a very nice touch and also gives the user great feedback.

Now this is really cool, a group-sharing option that gives broadcasters the ability to choose which groups they want to share their videos with.  They can also post to YouTube or Twitter which I think is really cool.

How does Flixwagon give it’s users the ability to send videos to Twitter or Youtube? It’s simple with the Twitter APIs and the Youtube APIs they can seemlesy give their broadcasters a bigger audience than just their normal Flix community.

Google has just launched Lively, a virtual online world dedicated to letting you own a little piece of the web. Lively lets you create a avatar and then presents you with your own virtual room. This is very similar to Vivaty only this one lets you take your Lively  and place it anywhere one the web.

Getting Started With Lively

To use Lively you just need to signup or have a Google account and then you need to download a plugin for the browser.  Then after that it takes you to creating your avatar, starting from a templates of characters you can choose from.  Customize the clothes,skin,hair,eyes,noise,and you can even give your avatar accessories, which I think is pretty cool.

Than after you have customized your avatar the way you want it it’s time to go customize your avatars Lively Room.

Lively Rooms

Just like Avatars Lively Rooms offers templates so you can start off with a great design and then go from there. You can choose from a 5 room apartment style setting or a dessert island setting with a view of the outdoors.  From there you can insert your favorite music,videos,you can insert furniture and even pull in photos from Googles Picasa.  The videos are blown up onto a virtual flat screen tv and from there you can pull in videos from YouTube.  This flat screen below shows a video of Sergey Brin and Larry Page on it.

Well it looks like Apple will not sell the iPone 3G in Canadian Stores and this is a bad turn for Apple.

This is a partner crime and Rodgers better do something fast because this sort of thing will hurt Apples chances of making iPhone the most popular gadget in the world.

Is this Roders fault or wil this prove to have no effect on Apples iPhone 3G?

Wow this is an interesting online world were users design their own virtual dorm rooms called Vivaty Scenes. Move on over Second Life you now have a huge compettior and with so many Virtual Worlds coming about these days who could argu with this product.

I have tried Vivaty and it is a great product, you don’t need to purcase money to borrow money on this game like you do on Kaneva and There, but this one gives you the oppertunity to customize your entire scene with great furniture to choosing which Youtube video or Flickr photos you woud want to put up.

Vivaty just launched in public beta today and already I believe it’s better than Kaneva and Second Life, but there is something that i really love about There that no other Virtual World has offered it’s users and that’s the ability of trying products before you buy them. Their called Try Its and they last for about 5 minutes per trial.

You can try anything from hoverboats to clothes and that’s not all, but this will be interesting to see how Vivaty does with this new product on the web.

Twitter Announced today that they may buy virigina based company Summize. A Twitter search engine, Jason Calacanis said.

The two companies have recently been in contact with one another and are looking to have a merger sometime within a few weeks. But won’t comment on the sale or how much money will go down in this deal.

Now this deal makes sense to me because Twitter does need a powerful search engine and who better to give it to them than Summize. Now this deal may hurt Twitter only because I have never seen anyone do this, especially a company that relies on mirco blogging  and social bookmarking as their service.

Unlike rival friendfeed, Twitter still lacks a great and capable search feature.  Twitter has also relied on Summize in the past to lighten the load of the Twitter API.  Summize is a great partner of twitter ans Twitter needs Summize more now than ever.

This will be quite an interesting merge, if this goes down. But I would really love to see how Twitter does with Summerize on board, that’s if they get on board.
